Nourishing Systems

By  |

Nourishing Systems, researches, trials, and then teaches a variety of techniques based on a blend of demonstrated science, often prehistoric indigenous practices, and historical food production methods; that use no petroleum, complicated machinery or supply chain. It is based on skilled hand labor assisted by the remarkable capacity for nurtured food systems to provide the sustainability and abundance of other natural systems.

We operate Tikkun Olam Research and Teaching Farm near Central Point, Oregon. In addition to carrying out contracted research in cooperation with the American Farmland Trust, Dry Farming Institute, and Oregon State University; we teach courses in Soil Management, Soil Biology, as well as the variety of techniques necessary for successful Regenerative Management.

For over a decade we have provided classes and program development for Oregon State University Research and Extension Service Programs, all offered to the public. In addition, we teach classes through the County Library System.

Stop by our booth to learn more about our classes, tours, practicum and long-term arrangements through an educational nonprofit ‘Emerging Futures Network’.
